Take Me Back Tuesday

A Giveaway Addicted Mommy

September 2001

When I was a baby I received this Raggedy Ann (made by knickerbocker) stuffed doll. I still have the same Raggedy Ann today. She is now my daughter's. She has her original dress, pinafore (with hankercheif) and bloomers.

My mother has a photo of me when I was a baby laughing at the Raggedy Ann doll (I will have to scan it in when I go to my parents house next time I am there). When My son was born I put that Raggedy Ann doll in his crib.He thought she was pretty funny, too.
This is one of my favorite pictures, but I wish I would have scanned it in at a higher DPI. Note to self...when scanning in photos change the 'standard' settings. These last 2 photos were taken with my Minolta 35mm right after I bought it.

Oh.... he looks so adorable. He really thought she was funny. How sweet.
What a treat; to have your Raggedy Ann to share with your little ones. I have no toys from my childhood but I'm saving my son's for him!

Awe, I love that photo of your son laughing. So precious!!

Unfortunately I do not have any of my past loveys. But my Husband still has his. It is a teddy bear which is very loved. He called it Tom. I mentioned giving it to our first baby and he actually gasp and said it was his! Kindof funny:)

Wow - none of my childhood dolls managed to withstand my love. ;)
They all ended up as rags for the garbage *sigh*.

That photo of your son laughing at the doll is adorable!!

It is as if he is saying, "How funny! A toy that takes no batteries!" I hope my kids enjoy simple toys too!

What a sweet baby smile. Those laughs are the best.

And I had that doll too! Along with Andy :o) They were the inspiration for my Halloween custom when I was like 4 or 5.
